AI voice agents – the most effective way today to handle leads and calls

Answering calls, giving out information, screening enquiries, taking messages: none of it needs a salary any more. An AI voice agent does the lot, around the clock, and it is live within a day.

    inbound answering

A person who answers calls, gives information and takes messages costs you a salary every month. An AI voice agent does the same work around the clock and never calls in sick.

It is the most effective way today to handle leads and customers. Not for every kind of call, and we get to that below, but for anything repetitive the gap is no longer close.

Why it works

Think how much of your team’s time goes on calls that never needed a person.

Someone rings to ask about opening hours. A new lead wants to know what you do. A customer leaves a message. An enquiry needs screening before it reaches a salesperson. Thousands of old leads sit in the CRM waiting for a call back that never comes.

Every one of those costs you wages today. The agent does them for less than an hour of work a month, and without a queue.

What the agent actually does

A list of what works, not of what demos well.

  • Answers every inbound call, at any hour. No queue, no voicemail, and no lead ringing at 21:00 who ends up with a competitor
  • Gives information about the business. Hours, location, what you do, prices too if you want. The same answer every time
  • Takes messages and hands them on. Logs the enquiry, summarises it, and passes it to the right person with the full context
  • Screens enquiries. Asks the qualifying questions you ask anyway: budget, timeline, type of need. What fits goes to a rep; the rest gets an answer and a close
  • Revives cold data. Calls thousands of old leads, holds a natural conversation, and returns only those relevant today. No human team does this at that scale

Which tools and systems we use

We do not sell one system. We pick the tool that fits the need, and sometimes combine them.

  • CallMarker – when the phone floor is the heart of it. The agent sits in the same system as the dialer, the CRM and call analysis, and it all talks to itself
  • monday.com – when leads and processes already live there. The agent updates items and triggers automations with nobody typing
  • Custom-built development – where the need is unusual or no system answers it, we build in code. Deployment from there is fast too

Already have a CRM or contact centre you are happy with? We connect the agent to it rather than replacing it.

What the agent still does not do

Better you know upfront than discover it in the field.

It does not close an expensive, complex deal. When closing means reading the customer and adapting mid-conversation, a salesperson does it better. The agent will screen, book the meeting and prepare the ground, but the close is yours.

In Hebrew it is not quite there yet. Very close, and the gap is shutting fast, but a complex Hebrew conversation challenges it more than an English one. If your scenario sits beyond that line, we will tell you.

What it costs and how long it takes

Three things set the price: what the agent has to do, what it runs on, and how much it needs to know about your product. One handing out opening hours sits at the bottom end. One screening against criteria, writing back to a CRM and booking meetings sits higher. A short call is enough for us to give you a firm figure.

Live within a day. Not a slogan: once we have agreed what the agent should do and what it needs to know, development and deployment are fast. No months-long project, no rollout that runs a quarter.

Who it suits

A fit for any business taking inbound calls that does not want to lose one, and for anyone sitting on old lead data nobody is working.

Less of a fit for anyone whose sales are all expensive deals closed in deep personal conversation. There we will propose an agent for the screening stage only, or tell you it is not the moment.

FAQ

What’s worth knowing before you start

What does an AI agent cost?

It depends on what the agent has to do, what it runs on, and how much it needs to know about your product. One that hands out general information costs considerably less than one screening leads against criteria and writing back to a CRM. A short scoping call is enough for us to give you a firm figure.

How long does it take to go live?

Development and deployment are very fast. An agent can be live within a day of agreeing what it needs to do and what it needs to know.

What do AI agents do well today?

Customer service, answering inbound calls, giving general information about the business, taking messages, screening enquiries against criteria, qualification calls, and reviving cold lead data. They do these excellently and never tire.

What do AI agents still not do well?

They do not yet replace a person in closing expensive or complex deals that need personal rapport and judgement. In Hebrew they are not quite there yet, though very close. We will tell you honestly if your scenario sits beyond that line.

Which systems do you build agents on?

On CallMarker, on monday.com, and on other systems you already run. Where no system fits or the need is unusual, we develop the agent in custom code.

Who is an AI agent not right for?

Businesses whose sales are entirely expensive, complex deals closed through deep personal conversation. There an agent can screen and schedule but not replace the salesperson, and we will say so upfront.
